We are a student-led organization dedicated to fostering excellence among students through dance. Our team performs at all home football and basketball games and participates in various events in the Pensacola community, including Take Back the Night, Dance Marathon, and the Gulf Coast Arts Festival. We seek support to grow and inspire others to pursue dance, and being part of this team is incredibly rewarding.
Uniforms ($1,500) - As we expand, we face a shortage of uniforms. High-quality dance uniforms are expensive; last year, we purchased 14 new UWF Dance performance tops for $1,244.62. We currently lack enough uniforms for all members, limiting our ability to attract new talent.
Merchandise ($400) - We want our members to proudly represent our school with merchandise like t-shirts and stickers. Additional funds would help us create a sense of pride and encourage participation.
Events ($200)—We host dance clinics and recitals to raise money while doing what we love. Open to anyone aged 5 and above, our clinics teach techniques and routines appropriate for different skill levels. Expenses include food, drinks, t-shirts, and investment in a quality speaker. Our spring dance recital, which started in 2023, has great potential, but we need a stage manager and technical support to improve the experience.
