The American Society for Microbiology provides students interested in a career in the field with real-world experience and exposure. By providing this exposure through leadership, mentorship, and networking opportunities, we can encourage our members' academic success and empowerment. To provide a more engaging and rewarding experience with UWF, we are raising money to fund a trip to the CDC museum in Atlanta, Georgia.
Our goal of $1,500.00 will cover overnight lodging and experimental equipment such as agar plates. The knowledge and valuable experience this trip has the potential to provide will help reshape and expand these young students' minds. In other words, your contribution, no matter the size, will make a lasting impact on microbiology's future through each ASM member.
