The Graduate Anthropology Association (GAA) is working to raise money to assist in our mission to support graduate students within the UWF Anthropology Department. Members of the GAA are passionate about numerous anthropological topics such as public archaeology, terrestrial and underwater archaeological excavations, medical anthropology, biological archaeology, and forensic anthropology. With a goal of raising $3,000 the GAA hopes to foster those passions by funding events that allow for career development and the expansion of their professional networks as well as offering grants for students attending and/or presenting anthropological research at academic conferences.
