At the UWF chapter of the Psi Chi International Psychology Honors Society, we strive to build community amongst honors students of psychology by providing members (and non-members) with insight from professional testimonies and psychology field-related experiences that will equip students to be successful in their future careers. These opportunities are open to all students to join! A primary way we galvanize student ambition and encourage achievement is by supporting students going to the South Eastern Psychology Association (SEPA) Conference held in the spring. It is the biggest regionally-held psychology conference in the south east, and we have seen many bright students be inspired, make connections, and take a more focused approach to their career aspirations due to this experience. We hope to raise $5,000 to cover costs of hotels, transportation, and registration for members to attend SEPA and to help cover costs of our annual induction ceremony. With your support we can continue to uplift students in their research endeavors and connect them with other like-minded students at our university and throughout the world.
