The National Society of Leadership and Success, also known as NSLS, is raising donations to help us with our future programming needs. My name is Gigi, and I am the President of The NSLS Chapter here at UWF. Before I came to the University, the chapter was inactive. Ever since taking on the role as the President along with my amazing exec team, we have been making great strides and efforts to get NSLS to a great point. Compared to last Spring we have doubled our member attendance at our meetings, and we have been making connections with other student orgs to further our goals as a student organization. We love to help our students develop their leadership skills and help them become great professionals and leaders who aim to make a key difference in the world. Moving forward, we envision raising between $750 and $1000 to have more social events that we can open up to the whole student body, collaborate with other student organizations, and present leadership presentations for campus athletics, campus departments, and bigger campus events such as leadership summits. Although we are a small student organization and our system of membership is a little different and exclusive, we firmly believe that with your support as donors, we can grow this chapter and get our name out there more and make a bigger impact among our student body and local community.
