UWF Singers Take FMEA Stage

The UWF Singers have been honored with an invitation to perform at the Florida Music Educators Association Conference in Tampa in January 2025. UWF is the only university vocal group to be invited to this prestigious event. The Florida Music Education Association boasts a membership of approximately 4,000, including music teachers at the elementary, secondary, and collegiate levels, covering all areas of music: strings, band, chorus, guitar, general, and other specialties. The annual conference is among the largest of its kind anywhere in the world.

This is a great honor for the UWF Singers, the Williams School of Music and UWF as it will put the incredible talent of our students in front of a massive audience. To cover the cost of travel, lodging and other expenses on the trip, the UWF Singers need critical donor support to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The estimated cost for the trip is $786 per student. A gift of any size will help get us one step closer taking our ensemble to perform on this national stage.
